My family sends our love to the Nolan family; we are so deeply sorry for your great loss in the passing of your father and grandfather. "Uncle Bob", as he so warmly asked me to call him instead of Mr. Nolan, was pure sunshine. His love, kindness, and humor are treasured. With boundless interest in people, life, and the world, he shared his vast experiences and brilliance in every conversation. He was always so present, so engaged. My father especially relished his wonderful friendship with Bob, and he so looked forward to being together at Wilderness each year. They called and emailed nearly daily when they were apart. So blessed we are in his friendship. He will be very missed. Heaven has received an angel, Home, together with his beautiful bride once more. Brendon, your Dad was so very proud of you, spoke very highly of you to all, and he loved you ever so dearly. Godspeed, Uncle Bob! I will never forget you.
