Obituary of James Anthony Maffei

James A. Maffei of Montclair passed away on November 15, 2019 at the age of 80.  Born in Montclair on September 3, 1939 to James V. and Mary (Doherty) Maffei.

He is survived by his loving children, James Maffei of Hackensack and Kara Romano (Robert) of Annandale, NJ.  James is also survived by his three siblings John (Maggie) of Bluffton, SC, Molly Baldwin (Reggie) of Vernon, TX and Vincent (Linda) of Durham, CT.

James graduated from Seton Hall University and spent his working career as an advertising production manager in Manhattan ending his career with Gotham, Inc.  He was a life member of the Knights of Columbus, Montclair Council #1277.  He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral from the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home, 76 Park Street Montclair on Saturday November 23rd at 9AM.  Then to Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Church of the Immaculate Conception, 32 North Fullerton Avenue where at 10AM a mass of Christian burial will be offered.  Visitation 2-4, 7-9PM on Friday November 22 at the funeral home.  Interment Immaculate Conception Cemetery Montclair.
