I always loved visiting Gran at her magical house in Vermont. We would often sit on the screened in porch and watch the ruby-throated hummingbirds feeding at the feeder filled with red sugar water. Gran and I also used to play cards by the large fireplace. At the time I had a pet hamster that I brought everywhere with me and Gran was happy to let Cheeky the hamster scramble around the table while we played. She loved animals and has passed that love for all creatures on to me. I love you so much Gran.
