Harvey was a great cousin and a pleasure to be with. I regret that we never got close until later in our lives. He was always trying to hit the ball farther, but he played great for a guy who couldn't hit it 200 yards. i'll miss him.

Harvey was a remarkable man. He had a unique gift of humor and never failed to make me laugh, brightening the darkest of days with his infectious comedy. Even more astounding, however, was his aptitude to challenge you intellectually and philosophically while simultaneously adding his own unique and hilarious quips. He was knowledgeable about almost everything you could throw at him and could go on for hours when explaining the smallest of details.
Selflessness was at the core of his being. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone, regardless of their relationship with him. His generosity knew no bounds, and he exemplified what it meant to give without expecting anything in return. Since I properly met him in middle school, he has shown me nothing but kindness and generosity, as he welcomed me as his great nephew in the company of the rest of our family.
One of my favorite running jokes I had with Harvey was when he found his prized Martinelli's apple juice finished before he got home after Aunt Mari offered it to me. Every time I would visit thereafter, he would always have a pack of it waiting for me, so in his words, "I would stop stealing his." Every time I would ever talk about needing something, like magic, it would be waiting for me the next time I visited. Harvey was always ready to offer you the world, only requiring that you put it to good use.
Though he mainly found pleasure in his passion for golf, he never ceased to encourage his loved ones to achieve their dreams in whatever they so desired, never forcing them into a singular life path but assisting in fostering their greatest potential. He encouraged me to pursue my ambition of becoming a lawyer. Even so, he always joked about hating law school and leaving less than a semester in. His pride for all of us throughout our achievements was evident, which highlighted his deep love for his family's success.
I will forever remember and cherish the memories I had with my great-uncle. For the ways he always made me laugh, his enthusiasm towards his hobbies that he was more than enthusiastic to share with me, the grand events of his life that he always loved recounting, the selflessness he embodied in always giving to his family, and the deep love he held for us. I'll forever miss him and his positive presence in my life.
I will love you forever, Uncle Harvey.

Harvey, it's been truly such a pleasure knowing you and getting to spend time with you. I immensely enjoyed listening to your experiences and loved your sarcasm and the occasional profanity that would come out of left field. You were so real and always said it like it is.
The last time I saw you was at Haledon with my aunt, while we were talking about this and that, and you kept saying, "just one more story and then I'll let you girls go", in between every story. I'd like that to be my last memory of you, full of life, laughs, and that smirk you'd make every so often.
You were such a blessing to so many people and loved so very much. Alex and I will miss you dearly. A lot of things will never be the same without you. We will never forget you!
