 Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Elizabeth “Beth” O’Connor of Verona, NJ died peacefully on August 28, 2023. Beth was born on November 18, 1941 in Asbury Park, New Jersey to Eileen and Leslie Cavanagh. She was then raised in Sea Girt where she met her would be husband, Dr. Paul “Bucky” O’Connor. Beth and Bucky raised their children Karen, Bucky and Christopher in Montclair, New Jersey. Beth loved tennis, bowling and bridge, but enjoyed nothing more than playing golf with her family and friends. Her love for golf and travel often led to trips with friends to historic golf courses, including many of Ireland’s finest. Beth is survived by her husband, children Karen and Joe Sullivan , Paul O’Connor III (Bucky) and Maggie, Chris and Jenny and grandchildren, Dennis, Kelly, Connor, Quinn, Kylie, Ryan, Sean, Molly and Gavin. Visitation will be held at the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home located at 76 Park Street, Montclair, NJ from 3pm to 7pm on August 31, 2023. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Church 30 North Fullerton Avenue, Montclair, NJ on September 1, 2023 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the American Parkinson Disease Association. (800) 223-2732
