Richard & I shared many fine technical (& non-technical) conversations during our shared time together at Goldman Sachs.
After I parted ways with GS, we kept in touch through various subsequent career changes.
I worked with Richard on several of his commercial concepts to employ digital certificate technology for a variety of use-cases. It helped keep me intellectually engaged during a dark pandemic year when I wondered if I'd ever work in technology again.
Sadly, we never did find the right market for our working prototypes. But it was great to re-engage with Richard on a shared endeavor. I'm glad I got to spend that additional time with a great guy & an old colleague & friend.
