I began my teaching career in 1981 at Wayne Valley High School. Elaine took me under her wings as a first year teacher before the official mentoring program was even instituted. She taught me so much, offered advice, listened, and was a pleasure to work with and know. May she rest in peace in Heaven. Life has not ended - but changed.
