I knew Gemm's family in Bayonne. She was student oF my mother - in - law at St. Al's who used to tell my wife about her academic exploits. She was a friend at St. Cassian's for almost fifty years. She and Tom frequently drove me home from Mass each week. I telephoned her a few days ago to see if could help her daughter in any way and to see if she received my wife's obituary that I had sent to her. I left a message for her and worried when I didn't hear from her. I am in shock and sadness for Tom and her family. Our world has lost one of our brightest lights, May she rest in the peace.of the Lord. Raymond D. Aumack

Tom and family, Betsy and I were saddened to hear of Gemma’s passing and extend our sympathy to you. She was an eloquent lector at St Cassian and a wonderful presence in the Community. I was deeply saddened by the death of Gemma. We were very close friends at ASA and reconnected at our class luncheons. Family was very important to her and after the deaths of her siblings she embraced all the nieces and nephews for family gatherings and holidays She was a wonderful and classy woman. Our sympathy goes out to her husband and family. May she rest in peace
