Obituary of Patricia A Tremper

Patricia Ann Tremper, age 76, passed away on June 23, 2021. She was born on September 20, 1944 in Bergenfield, NJ, the beloved daughter of Katherine and Joseph Sheehan and dear sister to David Sheehan.

On October 18, 1969, Patricia married Robert Tremper at Corpus Christi Church in Hasbrouck Heights. Robert and Patricia lived a wonderful life together in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ.

Patricia was a loving mom to her daughter Catherine and son-in-law John Grube, and an amazing “Grams” to her three grandsons Jack, Sam, and Charlie. She enjoyed spending time with her grandsons and playing games and baking with them. Jack, Sam and Charlie loved “going to grams house” where there was sure to be great treats and lots of fun.

Patricia was the kindest woman, always at the ready to volunteer and help people with a smile. She was a Girl Scout leader and a member of the PTA. Patricia worked for Hallmark Cards. She had many great friends and loved her work. Patricia and Robert enjoyed attending Drum Corp competitions. They would travel to competitions together with great friends and have so much fun. Patricia and Robert loved cruising and visited many wonderful places. The lovely folks on the cruise ships knew them and would save deck chairs just for them. She also enjoyed driving her yellow Mustang with the convertible top down. On bright sunny days she would be behind the wheel and Robert in the passenger seat reading a newspaper.

Patricia is survived by her husband Robert, her daughter Catherine, son-in-law John, and her grandsons Jack, Sam and Charlie.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation is Tuesday evening June 29th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm and Wednesday morning, June 30th, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home, 76 Park Street, Montclair, NJ. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Cassian Church, 187 Bellevue Avenue, Upper Montclair, on Wednesday, June 30th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held immediately following the mass at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 712 Grove St., Upper Montclair, NJ.
