I had a chance to work with Jim back in 1991 when we shared an Avery office in Edison with Don M., Jeff B and a couple others over the years. He was a treat to work with and learn from because he was so plugged into the industry, respected by customers and competitors but just a good human being setting everything else aside. Jim brought knowledge and humor to make the days fun and rewarding just coming into the office. Selfishly I'm glad I had an opportunity to work with Jim and when I need a good word to be put in for me I can say wait St. Peter, I know a guy... Thanks Jim for being a part of my life. Rich Suit

My Deepest of Sympathy goes to Jim's Family. They can rest assured He was one of the "good guys " in our industry. I Met Jim when I was first Starting out with KOGCO and We were fortunate Enough to Represent K&M (which became Avery). He was one of the first "factory guys" I met and what a guy!!
He loved to play pranks on people and appreciated the ones that could handle the fun!!
I appreciated his friendship and his professionalism.
He Will be Sorely Missed (I Miss Him Already).
God Bless You Murph and Your Family.

I met Murphy at the Homesteads.way back when. Ever since he has taken me under his wings and constant pranks. I once checked in Orlando after 9-11. The clerk tells me my handicap room is ready with a crib. I looked at him an said do I look handicapped. Do you see any children. He said my friend requested the room. I kook at the lobby bar Murph is smiling with Joe Foy. There are many stories too many to write here. I will miss my friend and tormenter. I love you Murph.. Aloha

My deepest sympathies and condolences on the loss of your father. Jim Murphy was a true mentor and legend in the office products industry.
Jim was well liked and his word was his bond!
Jim, was so proud of his entire family, for their commitment and love to his beloved Notre Dame! Proud of his children Colleen, Dennis and James, their accomplishments and their faith in God and Country!
His grandchildren were the greatest, he often bragged about each one's individual talent and contribution to the overall family, and what they meant to him.
Jim enjoyed the camaraderie on a golf course, along with the needling and joking...all in fun, and often, I was the target. Jim liked me for who I was, and what I stood for.
"Murph" was a good man, who terribly missed his wife, Elizabeth, and now will be with her for eternity....
We will all miss Murph, his physical being, however, his eternal life has just begun. God Bless him and his family...
R.I.P. my friend

Our deepest condolences on the passing of your beloved father and grandfather. Your dad was a very close friend to my dad John Delli Santi. They spent numerous hours together playing golf or laughing at the Verona diner. They shared a passion for sports ; especially Notre Dame football.
As a young boy, James was the water boy for my father's football team, Immaculate Conception HS in Montclair. The bond they shared continued to grow into their adult years.
My mother and I will never forget how helpful Jimmy was when my father was so ill. He drove my mother to the hospital and rehab centers in many snowstorms just so she could visit him. His kind, and supportive nature will never be forgotten.
May your memories of your father give you some peace during this difficult time. Our deepest thoughts and prayers.
.

Peace, comfort and condolences to Jim's family at this difficult time. Jim loved his family, the Shore, golf - of course, and the friendships that he cultivated in the office products industry. Jim mentored many, cared greatly for the success of others and left a legacy that business friendships matter. Thank you, my friend, for all you did for me.

Jim always shared his deep love of family with his “work family”. Know that you were his purpose and love. His play ground was the “ shore” that was home. Cherish your memories. Deepest sympathy Mindy McCabe.

My condolences to Jim's family, he spoke of them often when we were together, Jim was a great mentor to me and others early on in my OP career, he had a big personality but was kind and generous and thought of others before he thought of himself,,, He was one of the good guys and will greatly missed,,,
