Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Ferdon (nee Kelleher)

Betty Ferdon, 86, died 5th February 2019 at her home in Montclair, NJ. She was predeceased by her husband Edgar in 1996. Betty was born on Feb 6, 1932 and was raised on Alexander Ave in Montclair. She graduated Montclair High School in 1950. Betty was a 50 year resident of Glen Ridge and she returned her hometown in 2006. She was a daily communicant and Eucharistic Minister of St. Cassian’s Church in Montclair, the same church in where Betty and Ed were married in 1954.

She is survived by her 4 children, Kathleen A. of Wall, William J. of Montclair, Robert A. of Wanaque, Michael W. of Manasquan as well as 2 granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Olivia Ferdon, one grandson Edgar J. Ferdon as well as her brother John Kelleher of Toms River and her guardian angel Fucienne. She is predeceased by her bothers Joseph Kelleher of Montclair and Thomas Kelleher of Mays Landing.

Funeral from the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home, 76 Park Street Montclair on Friday at 9AM. Then to St. Cassian Church, 187 Bellevue Avenue Upper Montclair where at 10AM a mass of Christian burial will be offered. Visitation 3-7PM on Thursday. Interment will be private
