Stewart F. Campbell, 87 of Montclair, NJ and Skytop, PA died on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.

Stewart lived in St. Louis, MO with his family until they moved to Westfield, NJ in 1939. After graduating from Westfield High School, he received an Engineering Degree from Lehigh University in 1953. While at Lehigh he met his wife, Ann. During their early-married years, Stewart was a Lieutenant in the US Navy and stationed in Okinawa, Japan. After the Navy, Stewart and Ann moved to Montclair, NJ and summered in Normandy Beach, NJ, eventually leaving the shore for the mountains of Skytop, PA. After receiving an MBA from New York University, he worked at The Duke Endowment and next the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation as the Financial Vice President and Secretary. Stewart was a Director of Skytop Lodge, Inc. and was Chairman of the Board from 1995 to 2000. While retired he volunteered with local Montclair organizations such as COPE Center and the Turrell Fund.

Stewart is survived by his wife of 64 years, two daughters and three grandchildren, also his sister and her three children in Ohio. For those who wish to, in lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Central Presbyterian Church in Montclair (46 Park Street) or COPE Center (104 Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair).
