Remembering Sr. Maureen and her deep devotion to God and her dedication to Catholic education. Thinking of how proud she was of her Irish heritage and how happy she was to be the Grand Marshal of the West Orange St. Patrick's Day parade! What a great day! What a great lady! With love, gratitude and gift of memories. Sincerely,
Bette Kuczek

Maureen’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope. https://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/wp20140101/

Rest in peace, Sister Maureen. Even though I only attended Immaculate Conception High School for two years my junior and senior years, your discipline and wisdom were always wise and superb. You always wanted all your students to succeed with high distinctions, and I am proof of that, graduating with High Honors. Please pray for me and my family, Sister, and we will always remember you. This loss impacts the entire Immaculate Family, but we know you are watching us from Heaven.
Love Always,

Sister Maureen was one of my history teacher's at Immaculate. While she knew me all too well and didn't let me get away with any shenanigans in the classroom, I came to know her very well after graduation through various fundraising efforts. She was a tireless worker and constant advocate for the high school who never backed down from the school's mission and her mission as a Sister of Charity. She embodied the works of Jesus and left an everlasting mark on many people but especially Immaculate Conception HS and those that passed through the school's doors during her tenure. Without a doubt, Sister Maureen fought the good fight, finished the race and kept her faith. RIP Sr Maureen

Sr. Maureen was a woman that helped shape so many lives. She taught us by her actions as well as her words. She gave tirelessly of herself and loved teaching/coaching. She could stop you cold with a look if you were out of line and she could make you feel like you were the most important person in the world. She was one of the good ones and will be missed by many. May she rest in the company of God and enjoy her everlasting reward.

May you rest in peace as you are welcomed home by your Dear God! Your life was one rooted in love for God's People. It is so right that you return to the Immaculate Conception Community where you were so loved for your years of dedication. I join all of the Sisters of Charity in prayer and love as you enter into your New Life! I am sure the Angels and Saints will be singing the Alma Mater you loved - "Immaculata we are proud of you!!" So very saddened to learn of the death of Maureen Crowley. She worked hard for Immaculate Conception High School and was greatly loved and admired.
The last time we spoke was at the 50th class reunion for the class of '57. She was so proud of the students at Immaculate and couldn't stop talking of their accomplishments. God Bless Her for all she gave to others.
