Richard’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

Dear Nancy,
My condolences to you and to all that knew him. So much to admire about Dick. He did not know how to stop. He lived his life the way he wanted to live. After his surgery I had said Dick you have to watch what you eat now and take it easy a bit.. He's response was " If I can't eat and do the things I want to then what's the point of living?" He moved faster then some of the younger folks I knew. I remember a time he came by my desk and asked me a question when my back was turned.. I responded and by the time I turned around he was gone.. The eveready bunny some of us called him. A true inspiration to us all. He was part of the Society and will always be.. I will be looking for the restaurant clippings that he used to bring me.. Rest in Peace my friend.
Love,
Mel

Dear Nancy,
I just wanted to let you know how sorry I am about Dick's passing. I worked with Dick for many, many years at the NJCPA - he is surely missed. I loved listening to his stories about hiking, his trips, skiing, leading groups, his Good Will business. He really lived his life doing the things he loved and I so admire that. All of his activities kept him so young and sharp for so many years. We would always say, "I hope to be in Dick's shape when we get to be Dick's age." He spread a lot of life in these NJCPA walls and he will be forever remembered in our hearts.
