I asked my son James who played on the Montclair Stars what he recalled about Mr. Comini. I believe James scored the winning goal in a shoot out against Willingboro in what may have been the first tournament the Stars played in. He said that he remembered him as a nice man and a good coach. Please accept our condolences.

To the family of Alberto Comini
Kim and I were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of your husband, father, friend and guiding light. Losing some one as special as Alberto is hard to rationalize nor understand but be comforted in the spirit he leaves behind in each of you and the role model that he is created for others to follow.

Dear Kathy and family,
We are heartbroken to hear and read about Alberto's death. Although we have moved from Montclair ( to Door County Wisconsin), Alberto and the Comini family are so vivid in our hearts and minds.
We had such wonderful, fun, giggling times together...never to be forgotten. Your husband, father, grandfather, brother, our friend Alberto was a truly fine and lovely man. To think of him no longer on this earth is painful and sad. We will always remember his wonderful smile, kindness, just plain love of life.
With many thoughts of this dear man and love to you,
Glenna & Stefan

Alex and family, I am saddened to learn of the passing of your father, Alberto. While I did not personally know him, upon reading his beautifully written obituary, I felt that I certainly could have. Having known men like this from my own family who came to this country from Italy at a young age, he found success, both personal and in business, raised a family and live a full and rewarding life. I am sure that he touched many lives and his spirit will live on in you. The greatest gift any father can offer his son.

Dear Comini Family,
Please accept my condolences and also pass them along to Piero. The community will miss Alberto. I will miss running into him at Raymond's when my mother was alive. He never failed to stop by our table to say hello. He was always so debonaire and kind and gave so much of himself.

To the family of Mr. Alberto Comini,
With sincere sympathy in the loss of your loved one. Beautiful promises of hope and comfort are contained in God’s Word (2Corinthians 1:3) Let God’s Word comfort and keep you when you are weak expressing words you cannot speak. There exist no other source with more promises of comfort than the Holy Scriptures. As you reflect on the life of Mr. Comini, remember his joys and blessings. I pray you are not too sad. Surround yourselves with those who love him, share fond memories this too is a source of comfort.
Sincerely

Words simply cannot say enough at this time. Alberto was truly a man of notable class, dignity and accomplishment. A genuine spirit-something sadly uncommon these days. That spirit and the mere presence of the man enriched us all whenever we came into contact with it/him. A man such as Alberto Comini will surely be missed by those who knew as well as those who didn't due to his accomplishments and contributions. And don't forget that smile. The key to his success to be sure. Ciao Alberto Comini. Go with God my friend.
