Obituary of Mary F Ryan

Mary Francis Ryan (neé Dooley) entered Eternal Rest on Wednesday, August 30th surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on April 22, 1930 in Coolrain, County Laois, Ireland. Mary met the love of her life Patrick Joseph Ryan and received her formal Nursing education in England. Mary and Patrick moved to the United States in 1957 and were married at Immaculate Conception Church in Montclair, NJ.  Mary worked at the now defunct Montclair Community Hospital’s Obstetrics Department.  She was a member of the Choir at Immaculate Conception and often sang the American and Irish Anthems at various dances and functions. She was active in the Irish American Community and was honored on numerous occasions for her charitable work.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Patrick and her daughter Eileen.  She is survived by three children; Michael, Maureen, and Eamonn, eight grandchildren; Christopher, Kelly, Sean, Kathleen, Thomas, Claire, Patricia, and Brendan, and two great-grandchildren; Garrett and Avery.
