Obituary of Ann E McMahon

Ann E. McMahon, 85, of Verona and Manasquan, died peacefully at home on Wednesday March 1, 2017. Ann graduated from Immaculate Conception High School, Montclair, in 1949. She was a formidable basketball player in high school and was later inducted into the Immaculate Conception Hall of Fame. She spent her entire working life with various entities of “Ma Bell,” retiring as a programming manager from Bell Communications Research in 1986. Ann loved life. She loved sports, the beach, politics, the ocean, travel, the Fighting Irish, golf, her friends and her family, not necessarily in that order. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews as well as a surfeit of friends and a best friend, Paula Connolly. She was predeceased by her parents, Richard F. and Stella McMahon and her 5 siblings, Richard F. Jr., Stella Casey, William, James, and Eileen, 2 nephews, Michael and James McMahon and a niece, Nancy Casey.
