Dear Gene and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Ginny's passing. I read it tonight in the St. Mary of the Woods Magazine and I was shocked.
I roomed with Ginny for two years at the Woods. I'll never forget the first letter I received from her. She knew I was from Indiana and she wanted to know if she would see Indians when she arrived here!
I have lots of fond memories of our college years. We missed her at our 50 th reunion last year. Was she ill then? We had lost touch over the years.
I was glad to read that she lived her dream of working in journalism. I'm sure she was a great editor.
I will keep your family in my prayers .
May God comfort you all.

Greetings: I'm very sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

To the Family of Vrgins Byrne
Please accept my sincere condolences. I have taken comfort knowing that God . . . will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain.”—Revelation 21:3, 4 The Bible, however, holds out a much different hope. God, who started mankind off in a lovely garden, has promised to restore Paradise on this earth under the rule of His heavenly Kingdom in the hands of the now glorified Jesus Christ. ( Matthew 6:10; “ Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth” ) In that restored Paradise, the human family will have the prospect of enjoying life without end, free from all sickness and disease. Please go to JW.org for words of encouragement
Sincerely,
Roberta

Hi Brother Byrne:
May I offer my sincere condolences upon learning of the departure of your wife Virginia.
I am well aware of the pain one experiences upon losing a spouse as I lost my wife many years ago when she was just 37.
Please take some comfort in the words that appeared on the cover of a sympathy card I received and to which I still have after all these years. The words are: In death, life is changed, not ended." May the words bring you a degree of spiritual comfort by knowing that your wife is safe with our Dear Lord.
Fraternally,
Philip Oddo, District Deputy

Dear Gene and Michael (and Sheila),
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sorrowful time. Ginny was always so sweet and funny whenever I called the house - we'd joked we were going to start our own "Friendly Sisters of St. Patrick" organization. How I wish we had gotten to at least have a drink together.
May God be with Ginny and keep her in eternal peace, and comfort you all with your memories and the enduring love you share. "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy burdened, for I shall give you rest..." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpotydKa-nA
