Obituary of Laura Eveleth
Please share a memory of Laura to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Laura Ann Eveleth, 54, a long-time resident of Glen Ridge and Montclair, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, after a long and courageous battle with colon cancer. Family and friends will be invited to a private memorial gathering to celebrate her life. Laura was born in Marblehead, MA to Janet Eveleth (nee Pembleton) and David Eveleth. She grew up in Unionville, CT, attended Farmington High School and studied Mathematics at Smith College '80. Laura received her MBA from Columbia Business School and began her career at Goldman Sachs. She later sold and invested in real estate and was co-owner of a restaurant in Montclair. Some of her many interests include gardening, crafts, the beach, Cape Cod, card games and baking. However her pride and joy were her children. Laura will live on in our memories as a strong, witty and loving mother and friend.
She is survived by her two children, Emily and Douglas Wagner and by her husband, Richard Wagner. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Laura's Lions, a walk/run team organized by Emily, benefiting the Colon Cancer Coalition at events.getyourrearingear.com/goto/LaurasLions
