Obituary of Edith M Budney

Edith M. Budney (née O’Connor), 75, of West Caldwell, NJ passed away on October 2, 2016. Edith was born on December 28, 1940 in Jackson Heights, NY to the late John J. and Edith M. O’Connor. She graduated from Ladycliff College then worked for NJ Bell Telephone Company as an engineer. She also worked for Upsala College and Oak Knoll School. She is a former instructor of Yoga and T’ai Chi Chih. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, William and living abroad in Brazil. She will be remembered for her loving and giving nature and hospitality towards all. She is survived by her daughter Sharon Budney, sister Christine Mazzuca (née O’Connor) and brothers John and Chance O’Connor. Her husband William J. Budney, Jr. and son William Bradford “Brad” Budney, predeceased her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Human Needs Food Pantry, Inc., 9 Label St., Montclair, NJ, 07042.
