Joan and I were very good friends in our early 20s before she married and hung out regularly in New York City especially after work on Friday evenings. We had so many laughs together. I remember her Enjoying making visits to church. Joanne was my maid of honor when I got married and she was my daughter Jennifer’s godmother. I’ll return to this site to place a few photos that I have.
It was so sad to learn of Joan's passing. I had the pleasure of volunteering with her at the Second Time Around shop for several years. We shared many laughs and loved hearing about her dog. What a sweet lady.

Joan, you were such a sweet person. Our time at the Y was so special; You were always so kind and concerned for others. Loved talking about our dogs and life in general. You have a place in heaven, I am certain.
