Bad timing, Reinhard. You missed the 3 weirdest years in US history. Miss you.

So sorry to hear this sad news. I saw her name on another post and laughed and wondered how she and her funny old car were, and if her play was being produced. I enjoyed reading you, Susan, and will miss your insight and wit, especially when you'd leave the Facebook page because you had to rest or do an errand or something, and you'd say, "Talk amongst yourselves." Rest In Peace, see you on the other side. xo

Sue was a very talented writer. She was passionate about it, worked hard at it and never gave up. When she learned she had MS, that same determination and spirit was turned to managing her disease. She did amazing amounts of research, kept her doctors on their toes, changed her diet, and began exercising. For a woman who wrote often about daydreams, she faced reality with tremendous courage. And through it all, she kept writing. In our last phone conversation, Sue talked about the upcoming production of one of her plays in California, about things she'd been doing, things she'd been writing and people she'd seen. She never once complained about her MS, although I knew it was getting worse and would probably keep her from getting out to the West Coast to see the production of her play. I'm sad that she's gone but happy for her that she was able to go gently and on her own terms.

I only knew Susan from Facebook. I always looked forward to her posts. I am sorry I did not get the opportunity to meet her in person.
Sending peace and light to her family and friends.
