Jacqueline L. Lukey, age 88, died at Christ Hospital in Jersey City, New Jersey, on Friday, February 12, 2016. Born June 21, 1927, in Dayton, Ohio to John and Mary Wellner, she fostered her love of classical music, studying Chopin at Miami University. Oxford, Ohio during the 1940s. During that time, she was also an avid roller skating dance competitor at the regional and national level. Into the 1960s, “Jackie” was a state and regional competitive bowler, with one sanctioned “300” perfect score. She loved her piano, her painting and her flower and vegetable gardens. She was an avid supporter of the Disabled American Veterans, and a fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. She was an inspiration to her grandchildren to artistically express themselves at a very young age. Survivors include her son, Gary L. Lukey and his sons/grandsons Max and Sam, her daughter Theresa L. Lukey, and her daughters/granddaughters Alexis and Kristen. Family members who cared for her over the years include her son-in-law Sherman Lo, and her daughter-in-law Milet Lukey. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J.
