Deisler, William A. of Montclair entered into eternal rest on January 23, 2012 at the Montclair Little Nursing Home. Funeral from the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home 76 Park Street Montclair on Saturday at 9:30 AM. Then to Immaculate Conception Church where at 10:30 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Visitation 4-6 PM on Friday.
William was born to the late Michael and Frieda Deisler of Brooklyn, NY. He was a proud Army veteran of World War II. Bill was a graduate of New York University. He was a tax executor for Dunn & Bradstreet in NY and Partner at O'Connor Deisler, CPA in West Caldwell, NJ for many years. He was a member of the Timber Trails Golf Club in PA. He enjoyed deep sea fishing, cross country skiing and the challenge of "do-it yourself" projects. He was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus, Montclair Council 1277. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Rev. Mon. Edward J. Fleming of Seton Hall University, Dr. Joseph Fleming and Rozalind, Timothy C. and Theresa, Thomas and Kay. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Alice (nee Fleming) and his devoted niece and caregiver Carol Fleming and many devoted nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Immaculate Conception Church Building Fund, 30 North Fullerton Avenue Montclair, NJ 07042 or Immaculate Conception High School, 33 Cottage Place Montclair, NJ 07042.
