Obituary of Mary Anderson

Mary Catherine Anderson died Friday, March 23, 2011 at St Barnabas Medical Center. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Edward F. Anderson; her children Hugh J. of Verona, Mary Anne Maday and her husband Donald J. of Lakewood, Ohio, Edward J. and his wife Elaine of Livingston and J. Harry and his wife Susan of Morris Township; 8 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren. Mary was the sister of the late Grace Larkin, Agatha Courter, Theodore Mc Neil and her cousin Margaret O'Connell of Virginia. Mary was born in Lourdes, Nova Scotia and lived most of her life in Upper Montclair as a homemaker. She was a member of Saint Vincent's Auxiliary, Montclair Art Museum, Meals on Wheels and the Montclair Garden Club. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Cassian's Church on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.. Visiting hours will be 4:00 - 8:00 on Monday at the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home, 76 Park Street, Montclair.
