James Samuel Cowan, 72, of Lincoln Park, NJ, formerly of Montclair, NJ, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. Son of the late James Cowan and Helena Hagan, Jim is survived by his wife, Maria (nee Macchiarelli), his son, James Thomas Cowan, his daughter, Christine Mary Cummings, his grandchildren, James Kavanagh Cummings, Emerald Grace Cowan and Michael Francis Cummings, his sister, Mary Edith O'Rourke and many friends whom he cherished.
