Dear Linda and family,
While not here now, I know you are still with us and aware of our love, admiration, respect and thanks for all that you did for us at CHAP, FXB, NJMS and SON to help and confort families living with HIV/AIDS. I also know of the love and generosity of your husband and family in sharing you with us. You helped me and our program in so many ways to confort and care for infants, children, adolescents and their families impacted by HIV/AIDS. Most importanly you helped us in preventing so many infants fro m being infected. Your legacy, my love and respect will never be forgotten or dimminished.

My deepest condolences to Linda's family. Linda was an original force of nature. In addition to her many personal and professional achievements, she was the consummate hostess. I have fond memories of cavatelli and Jumble Store shopping in North Bergen and the world's best pizza on Arthur Avenue. Plain -- because it's so good you don't need anything on top.

My deepest condolences to Linda's family. I had the privilege of meeting her in 2006 when she recruited me to work at the FXB Center based in Guyana. She had an incredible impact on me and continued to support my professional growth and development for many years after. Her love of humanity of all creeds was evident in her radiant smile and effervescence for everyone she encountered and the very important work she led bringing vital healthcare services and to many, especially women and children; and training to healthcare and community workers. When I last spoke with her she was proud to have volunteered on President Obama's re-election campaign and gushed about practicing yoga and enjoying every moment of life--I marveled at her strength and courage! I count her as one of a handful of women who have served as a mentor to me personally and professionally. I will never forget her and will miss her dearly. May her spirit live on through all of the lives she touched.

Linda commented that she liked the sentiment on a sign I had pinned to a bulletin board over my desk at the FXB Center. It read, "Cultivate in yourself what you admire in others". Cultivating what I admired in Linda will keep me busy for a very long time! She was an extraordinary woman who lived her life with incredible grace and dignity. I will miss her terribly as I'm sure will everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
