Obituary of Joan Ridings

Joan Marie Fullem Ridings passed away quietly in her sleep on Sunday, September 8, 2013. Joan was born in Jersey City, NJ and raised in Montclair, NJ. She was a long time resident of Cedar Grove, NJ where she lived with her beloved husband of 64 years, Lester, and her two sons, Barry and Keith. She was a graduate of the Immaculate Conception High School and the Katherine Gibbs School, both of Montclair. For over 30 years Joan was the Corporate Secretary of Two-E's Electric Corporation, a company she founded along with her husband, and Albert and Irene Tewes. Prior to that Joan worked for Johnson and Johnson in New York City. Joan donated her time and services as an IRS certified volunteer for those in need of assistance at the Cedar Grove Public Library. Loyal and faithful to her lifelong friends, her unending energy and love for her family and grandsons, smiling eyes and generous spirit, Joan is survived by her husband Lester, her two sons Barry and Keith, her daughters-in law, Ann and Marguerite, her sister Lois, her five grandchildren, Alexander, James, Andrew, Jason and Nicholas, her two grand daughters-in-law Claire and Noelle and three great grand children, Oliver, Grace and Mabel. Her brother, L. Robert Fullem, predeceased her.
