Bill was born on October 1, 1946, in New York City, was raised in Bergenfield, N.J., and for many years lived in Upper Montclair, N.J., where he raised his family and was a parishioner of St. Cassian Roman Catholic Church. He earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Manhattan College in 1968; a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 1972 and an L.L.M. from NYU School of Law in 1978. He spent his professional career as an intellectual property attorney and was a partner at Morgan & Finnegan, LLP, in New York, where he worked for 35 years. Bill is survived by Louise, his loving and devoted wife of 42 years, and their four children: sons Michael, Thomas and Stephen Feiler, and daughter Christine Arena. He was the proud grandfather of nine grandchildren, including one due in July. He is also survived by his sister, Kathy Snyder, and predeceased by his parents, John and Monica, and his sister Monica. He will be missed most of all by his family, who will remember him as a loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather.
