Obituary of Isola White

Isola Joyce White of Upper Montclair passed away peacefully at age 77 on Friday, October 29, 2010. A Funeral mass for Isola will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, November 3 at Immaculate Conception Church in Montclair, New Jersey. Prior to the mass, the family will receive friends and other family members during a viewing at Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home, 76 Park Street, in Montclair, from 10am to 12:30pm. Interment will follow immediately after mass at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Born September 10, 1933, Isola grew up in Jamaica before migrating to the United States and after retirement, would split her time between Jamaica and the US. Isola worked previously as an interior decorator and retired as a nursing assistant several years ago. She enjoyed being with her family and her grandchildren, and had a passion for gardening and flower arrangement. Isola is survived by her husband, Reuben; her four children, Ann Marie White-Yturbe, Billard G. White, Cornel D. White and Valerie White-Norton; her beloved grandchildren, Diana Yturbe, Christopher White, Brandon White, Billie-Joe White, Keanna White ; sisters and brothers, Audley Graham, Eric Graham, Loui Patterson, Maria Mitchell, Beryl Redway, Gloria Cohen, and Annie Graham; and numerous many nieces, nephews and friends.
