Trautwein, Frederick P. of Livingston on July 24, 2012. Husband of the late Wanda. Father of Joanne O'Neill, Debra DeVries and Kenneth O'Neill. Grandfather of Brian O'Neill, Megan Traylor, Stephanie DeVries, Peter DeVries and Erin DeVries. Great-grandfather of Drew and Evan O'Neill. Brother of Joan Pellek. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 10AM at St. Philomena's Church, 386 South Livingston Avenue Livingston, NJ. Visitation on Thursday from 3-7PM at the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home, 76 Park Street Montclair, NJ. Frederick was a N.J. licensed funeral director for over 60 years and was the former owner of the George Ahr Funeral Home in Irvington, NJ. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and in Europe with the Army's Grave Registration Division. He attended the Xavier Military Academy and St. Francis Prep in Loretto, PA before attending the McAlister School of Embalming. Fred was a longtime member of the Livingston Council of the Knights of Columbus and the N.J. and Essex, Union and West Hudson Funeral Directors Association.
