To Jack, Joe & Rob:
I was so very sorry to read of your Dad's passing in such tragic circumstances. I can only imagine how difficult it is for you coming just a few years after you lost your Mom.
We were neighbors on Clinton Avenue (the Strains at 80, the Winsetts at 84). I can still remember the endless sports activities that took place in your yard, especially all five Strains jumping up and down on the trampoline! I hope you can take comfort in fond recollections of these and countless other moments with your Mom and Dad, and in the belief that they are together again.
I will remember your Dad as a soft-spoken, gentle man, who always had a minute or two to chat with a neighbor over the fence. I know he will be missed.
Please accept my sincere and heartfelt condolences.
Anna Winsett

Dear Jack, Rob & Joe,
I am so very sorry to hear of the recent passing of your dad.
Although I did not know your dad during my tenure in Admissions at MKA, I knew your mom and enjoyed many great conversations with her.
The three of you are the legacy of their life together.
May they rest in heavenly peace.
Sincerely, Marianne Traina

Jon and I worked at Morgan Stanley in New York at the same time. Jon was smart and extremely pleasant and was always grounded in good values. Absolutely Jon was a pleasure to interact with and we found ourselves sharing a golf cart at several golf outings because our personal styles had similarities. Tragic that he was taken so soon.

I must have 1,000 pictures of Jon on the lake but these three stand out. Jon catching a beer on a wake surfboard like only Jon can. Jon sitting on the back of the boat getting yet another real estate guy up on the wakeboard for the first time (sorry Nassty!). And of course, Jon playing with the Mariachi band summer of 23. All classics and all so Jon.
I will miss you Jon but never forget you. Hope you're catching an endless wave, skiing first tracks with no lift line and just hanging with Patty.

God bless Jon. So grateful he and Patty are reunited in heaven as she doubtlessly greeted him at the pearly gates. We were blessed to become friends with them 15 years ago when our kids became classmates at Montclair Kimberley Academy. Patty & Jon were assigned as our host family to get us acclimated and the rest was history. We enjoyed their friendship and in the words of Patty, we are reassured that “It’s all good” now. We will keep their beautiful boys in our prayers. With love from Susan & Tom Bradley; Sarah, Drew, Grant, Garrett & Becca.

My dear friend and brother - words cannot begin to describe the profound impact of your loss. The life you lived and shared brought so much joy, love, inspiration, and hope to everyone who was lucky enough to have known you. I will never forget the laughs, the tears, your words of wisdom, our late night conversations and the early morning meals we shared. Even as you are taken from us way too soon at 62 years, the impact you’ve had in our lives will never diminish. And while I’m profoundly saddened and heartbroken by your loss, I am comforted by the fact that you finally found your way back to your first love Patty. Rest in peace my brother and may your memory be enternal. The Wolfpack will never be the same again without you.
