Obituary of Cheryl Birmingham

Cheryl Birmingham age 51 of Glen Ridge passed away on Saturday March 24th at Mountainside Hospital after a two year battle with cancer. She passed while surrounded by family and friends, and with the same dignity that she lived her life. Cheryl was born in Tokyo and moved to Montclair. She attended The American School in Japan, Montclair Kimberly Academy and Wittenberg University. Her business career included Schweppe and Co. as a realtor and many years with the Kings Cooking Studios. She is survived by her husband Rick of 26 years and the entire Birmingham family who loved her as their own, and her brother Steve Wedel. She will be missed by many who have loved her and been touched by her. A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 7th, 11 AM at the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home, 76 Park Street Montclair followed by a gathering at the Commonwealth Club in Montclair to help celebrate her life. It was Cheryl's request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
