Obituary of Carl Washer

Washer, Carl M. , 83, of Verona, formerly of Kearny, NJ on April 26, 2011. Husband of Annetta (Geissler). Father of Roberta and her husband Jay, Daniel, and the late Mark. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Mira, and many loving family members and friends. A funeral service will be held on Friday at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 73 South Fullerton Avenue, Montclair at 10am. Interment to follow at Arlington Cemetery, Kearny. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home, 76 Park Street, Montclair. Carl was born in Newton, NJ and lived in Kearny before moving to Verona 8 years ago. Carol worked as an electrical contractor before retiring. He was also a Volunteer at Toni's Kitchen, a Eucharistic Minister at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, and a member of the Verona Card Club.
