Obituary of Madeline Sharkey

Sharkey, Madeline M. of Upper Montclair died on December 7, 2011. Funeral from the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home, 76 Park Street Montclair, NJ on Monday at 9:15 AM. Then to St. Cassian Church 187 Bellevue Avenue Upper Montclair where at 10:30 a mass of Christian burial will be offered. Interment Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Visitation 3-7 on Sunday. Madeline is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dominic Sharkey and the sister of the late Clifford Sharkey. She is survived by three sisters, Vera O'Connell, Mildred O'Brien and Joan Carville, and 18 nieces and nephews. She graduated from Montclair High School and Woods Secretarial School. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent's Nursing Home, 315 East Lindsley Avenue Cedar Grove, NJ 07009.
