Proven, Robert, 80 of Upper Montclair on October 10, 2011. Husband of the late Rose Proven. Father of Clifford and his wife Eileen of Little Falls and Rosemarie and her husband Robert of Cedar Grove. Grandfather of Jake and Julia Proven and Kaitlyn and Colleen Fahy. Brother of Dennis and his wife Carol of Patchogue, LI. Robert Proudly worked for IESC for over 30 years. He had a passion for reading, painting and the New York Yankees. What Robert cherished most was the time he spent with his family. Funeral from the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home, 76 Park Street Montclair, NJ on Friday at 9:30 AM. Then to St. Cassian Church where at 10:30 AM a mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Visitation 4-8 on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's memory to Hearthside Commons at the Job Haines Home, 250 Bloomfield Avenue Bloomfield, NJ 07003.
