Gibeau, John Anthony aka "Jack" was born on July 15, 1930 in San Francisco, CA and died on July 28, 2011, Chatham, Massachusetts. Jack was born and raised in San Francisco, CA, the sixth child of Tess Manning and Charles Augustus Gibeau. He graduated from San Francisco University and attended the University of California -Berkeley earning his Masters of Business Administration in 1956. He married Cynthia Walsh, and they moved to the New York City metropolitan area in 1958. Jack had a long career in pharmaceutical marketing, and retired as vice-president of operations from Drug Distribution Data-IMS American. Jack and Cindy were engaged members of their community and church in Montclair, New Jersey. Jack enjoyed the blessings of a successful career and loving family. He is predeceased by Cynthia (1996) and is survived by his two daughters, AnneMarie "Annie" Gibeau of Hempstead, NY and Mary Elizabeth "Molly" Gibeau-Griffin of New City, NY and their families including son-in-law Robert Griffin, daughter-in-law, Lisa Horowitz and grandchildren, Robert "Bobby" Griffin, Cynthia Anne Griffin, and Tess Rose Gibeau. He is also survived by a cousin, Elizabeth Archer. Jack leaves behind many happy memories of Cape Cod and Montclair with his family and good friends as well as his childhood home of San Francsico, CA. Funeral service from the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home, 76 Park Street, Montclair, NJ on Friday at 9:30am. Then to St. Cassian's Church, 187 Bellevue Avenue, Upper Montclair, NJ where at 10:30am a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Visiting hours are 7-9 on Thursday. Memorial donations, may be made in his memory to the Chatham Conservation, 104 Crowell Road, Chatham, MA 02633.
