William “Billy” Crawford of Upper Montclair, NJ, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017 with family by his side after a year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on March 16, 1954 to the late Bernard Keating Crawford and Billie Corn Crawford of Montclair.
A 1972 graduate of Montclair Academy in Montclair, NJ, he attended Ithaca College where he graduated with a BS degree in Business. He joined the family business, Standard Tool & Manufacturing Co., in Lyndhurst, NJ in 1976 where he had worked every summer throughout his college years, and advanced through the company to ultimately be elected President/COO in 1987.
