Ronald A. Belcastro, 86, died Tuesday, December 22rd, 2015. He leaves his wife of 59 years, Rosalie Belcastro, his three daughters, Joanne Belcastro and fiancée Roger, Diane Belcastro and Linda Flanagan and husband Vincent, as well as his sister RoseMarie Canigiani and his two grandchildren, Dylan and Drew Flanagan. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, to Joseph and Josephine, he was a long time resident of Matawan, New Jersey. Graduating Erasmus High School, he served in the US Army, overseas in the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1957. A lifelong career in sales with Union Carbide, proud of the friends he made, dedicated to the company he loved. After retiring, Ronald ran his own business to finish out his working career. Member of Bamm Hallow Country Club in Lincroft, New Jersey. Avid golfer, Yankees and Giants fan, famous for hosting his SuperBowl parties and US Open tennis outings. Watching his brother rise through the ranks of baseball gave him enormous pride. A special bond with his sister throughout his life. An intellect that was matched by few, no detail ever forgotten, a spark to any gathering. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stand Up To Cancer P.O. Box 843721 Los Angeles, CA 90084-3721
